Former Toa Samoa and Warriors player Tony Tuimavave is disappointed with the behaviour from rugby league fans that's circulating in the media.

Community leaders, sports players and Pacific Ministers have made appeals for Pacific rugby league fans to keep the peace ahead of this weekend's clash between Tonga and Samoa.

Tuimavave is urging young people to look after each other.

"Look after your mates. If he's getting out of hand, bring him back down and talk to them and calm them down," he says.

"People come along to enjoy the event and the game and have a good time. That's what it should be."

Toa Samoa face Mate Ma'a Tonga at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton tomorrow night.
