Samoa's national airline is making way for their newest aircraft that will leave Italy and arrive at Apia's Faleolo Airport this weekend.
The new 737-800 aircraft is a part of Polynesian Airlines' rebranding, carrying the familiar blue livery and palm tree logo as Samoa Airways.

Marketing executive Dwayne Bentley says next week's launch and inaugural flight herald a new future for Samoa Airways as well as trade and tourism.
"There'll be six services and then seven from the 17th of December," he says. "We also have a short haul operation between Samoa and American Samoa."
Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi will lead the government delegation travelling on the 737-800 maiden flight which touches down at Auckland Airport next Tuesday.
