Niuean broadcaster Patrick Lino has been named the new Chief Executive for Pacific Media Network which operates Niu FM and Radio 531pi.

The 53-year-old had been the interim CEO since December 2016.
Lino is a veteran journalist and broadcaster, a former general manager for the Broadcasting Corporation in Niue, news editor of TV Niue and RNZ correspondent in Niue.
He says Pacific Media Network will continue working to provide a quality product that Pasifika communities deserve.
"We have a vision that we need this to survive and serve our people, so that we can give back to the community that have entrusted us to be here."
Neville Dando has been appointed the new Deputy CEO.
Both roles are effective as of June 1.
