New Zealand wins big at World Rugby Awards

Black Fern skipper Fiao'o Fa'amausili wraps up her playing career on a high, after the team was named the World Rugby Team of the Year at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco.

The 20-test veteran has been a big part of the Black Ferns five World Cup titles.

The Black Ferns were top point-and-try-scorers in this year's World Cup Championships in Belfast, where they play in the final this weekend.

The All Blacks first-five Beauden Barrett was named Men's Player of the Year for the second year in a row and Portia Woodman won Women's Player of the Year.

Rieko Ioane was named the Best Breakthrough Player and Michaela Blyde won the Women's Sevens Player Award.
