Pasifika film-makers are being called upon to submit their entries to this year's Pollywood film festival.
The festival is now in its 15th year, showcasing short films with a strong Pacific connection.
Festival curator and founder Craig Fasi, is excited to see a new crop of exciting film-makers from the islands.
"There are so many untold stories out there that I want to be told," he says. "At the same time, showcasing it to the world will hopefully inspire more stories to be told."
Fasi says his goal has always been to tell stories that are ignored by mainstream channels and Pollywood is a multi-genre, Pasifika, story-telling platform.
"Diversity is pretty much my focus."
Fasi believes events like Pollywood and the Pasifika Film Festival increase the chances of success for Pacific artists.
Submissions for the festival close on August 31.
