The Solomon Islands Prime Minister says the United Nations may not be perfect, but it still provides the best fit for small island nations to have a global voice.
Rick Houenipwela told the annual general assembly in New York the UN review findings will help it work better, but it's still the best there is.

He suggested aspects of the UN, such as the security council, could afford more inclusion for developing island states.
"Without the UN, as a small island country, we will not be able to be heard, other louder voices will drown ours."
"Our expectations from this organisation will remain high."
