Wisil, dubbed the South Pacific sprint queen, has been axed for breaching medal protocols at the 2017 Pacific Mini Games in Vanuatu.

Despite winning the 100-metre sprint, she was so disappointed at placing second in the women's 200-metre final, she did not attend the medal ceremony.

The snub is considered a serious breach of protocol and Athletics Papua New Guinea withdrew Wisil last week.

She's since relocated to the National Sports Institute and is focused on the 2019 Pacific Games, and her third Olympics in Tokyo 2020.
