The new network hopes to broaden the opportunities for local Pacific businesses in the region.
Founder and chairperson Meleane Burgess says it's been a long journey getting the network up and running.
She says for too long the Pacific community in Waikato has been overlooked in terms of helping businesses and entrepreneurs.
"They're hard working people. If you have this group, that can encourage them and direct them to pathways and opportunities out there to help them to get from point A to B."
"Our community is standing up to help our own community rather than waiting for help to come to us."
Minister for Pacific Peoples Aupito William Sio, who attended Tuesday night's launch, says the network is a step forward for the Pacific economy in New Zealand.
